Master-planning at the start of CIVITECTS’ house doctor relationship with Massachusetts Maritime Academy has guided a decade of renewal on campus. Two pavilions define the entrance to campus and Maritime Park, whose centerpiece is a part from the U.S.S. Constitution. Towline Plaza, a major hub of campus activity has become both a meeting place and education opportunity. A mast, located at the focal point of the Plaza, is a critical means of communication in the Maritime world, and familiarity with its various signals is imperative for the entire student body. Other projects include renovations to existing open space for the creation of a new parade field and graduation site.
